Accelerated Learning

Does your child struggle with...

• Auditory and visual processing difficulties?
• Executive functioning and active working memory difficulties?
• Motor and language sequencing difficulties?
• Attention and focus difficulties?
• Timing and rhythmiticity?

The Accelerated Learning Program consists of:

• Tomatis Sound therapy training for the first hour targeting the vestibular-cochlear nerve to impact the auditory and vestibular (movement) system. This hour will also consist of one-on-one therapy that, depending on your child’s profile, could also include Balametrics, a program known for integrating the auditory, visual, and movement system
• The second hour will consist of Interactive Metronome, which impacts sequencing and attention, and executive functions
• The third hour will consist of Captain's Log, a cognitive program that is individualized according to each child to work on problem solving, visual and auditory processing, logical thinking and active working memory

This packed program is best for children over age 7 and adults, is highly individualized, and will consist of one-on-one assistance throughout the program. It is not meant to be a summer program that would only maintain skills, but is meant to create active change.

Combined Therapy Intensives

We also have several therapies such as Sound, OT, PT, SLP, DIR, Play Therapy, IM, Balametrics etc. that are offered in individualized intensives. The emphasis is on training the caregivers and providing information for the home, while also working on creating lasting change. The time frame and pricing will depend on each individual child. Many families come from other states or countries to effect change and obtain home programming ideas for their child. It is an ideal time to plan for this during summer time, but due to the intensity of the programming, it must be planned well in advance.
