Each program is individualized to the child's profile, according to the child's needs as well as parent preferences. See how your child can grow in a relatively short time with intensive programming!

2011 Summer Programs at ATA
- Could be either two or three hour a day intensives for periods of 10 days
- Intensive work on tactile integration a crucial building block for motorplanning / praxis
- Includes postural and dynamic reflex training for all levels of motor skill development To Top ^
- Two hours each day for 10 to 15 days
- Depending on the child’s profile, combination of all three therapies
- Very much a basic building block type of program with some elements of higher functioning, such as speech To Top ^
- 10 day, 2 hour a day speech intensive
- Program depends on speech profile of each child
- PROMPT requires advanced training in a tactile cueing method that entrains specific speech patterns
- Could be only language, only PROMPT, or combination of bothTo Top ^
- Depending on needs of child
- to 3 hours a day for period of 10 or 15 days
- One hour PT/OT with sound therapy
One hour Interactive Metronome for rhythmicity and timing, motor planning
One hour Captain’s Log for building active working memory, attention, logical thinkingTo Top ^
- Crucial building block for setting up central nervous system to cope with environment
- Crucial building block for developing speech and language
- 10 day, 2 hour a day program that involves working with an auditory trainer (electronic device) in combination with a sound program
- Activities include dichotic listening tasksTo Top ^
- Tomatis sound Training Programs with OT/PT Intensive work
- Depending on individual needs of the child
- 3 intensives consisting of 1x 15 days, 2x 8 days
- Child comes to center 2 hours each day
- Most intensive program at ATA and crucial to setting the foundationTo Top ^
- 10 day program, 2 hours daily
- Sets up the important natural ability of the parent to relate to the child
- Parent enters the treatment program as a play partner and learns hands on which techniques to use in order to enhance his/her child’s embracing of the relationship in order to be available for learningTo Top ^
- Could be group or individualized
- 2 sessions each week for a period of 5 weeks
- If group 2 hours, if individual 1 hour program
- Focus on what are triggers for the child, what level of building block to start treatment

- 10 day intensives of two hours each day
- Focus on voice projection and ability to hear own voice
- Combination of mechanical work through electronic device, sound therapy and voice training with a music therapistTo Top ^
- TNT Reading Program for Kindergarten and First Grade
- 1 hour a day for 10 or 15 days depending on the profile of the child

- Second grade reader and up Cellfield Reading Program
- Reading assessment that includes reading, auditory processing, visual and auditory attention and ocular-motor testing
- Phase 1: 1 hour per day over 10 days, computer based
- Phase 2: 1 hour per week over 10 weeks to work on reading rate, accuracy and fluency

- We must not forget the importance of developing a self concept or a sense of self with so many developmental delays in one body
- 10 day, 2 hour a day intensives
- Work through emotional themes with a play therapist using different modalities including sand tray
