Creative Expressions Drama Social Skills Groups
- Does your child struggle with social skills at school and in the community?
- Does your child struggle to make and maintain friendships?
- Does your child have difficulty understanding who he is, and having an adequate sense of self?
- Does your child have difficulty taking in and understanding the perspectives of others?
- Does your child experience difficulty with self expression?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above this program is designed for your child!
- Drama Component: Work with a drama teacher of 20 years experience,
who excels in activities designed to encourage self exploration, self presentation
and self expression!
- Occupational Therapist: Bringing years of knowledge in the field
of developmental delays, adding the neuro-physical components necessary for joint
attention and engagement.
- Mental Health Clinical Assistant: Encouraging social-emotional
well-being in the group format as different themes and roles play out in the group
situation
Groups consist of 6 children each, between the ages of 9 and 12.
This program will run for 12 weeks from January 29, 2008, every Tuesday evening from 5 to 7pm,
after which re-enrollment possibilities will be decided.
