Physical Therapy
Here at A Total Approach, we see physical therapy (PT) as the summation of many
interventions and treatment techniques that serve to improve a child's functional
mobility and performance of gross motor skills. We believe that infants and
children do best when their families, therapists, doctors and teachers work
together to understand their abilities and challenges. Because of this, PT is
one of the interventions that we provide in a comprehensive treatment plan best
suited to meet the child's needs. PT is recommended for children with physical
limitations that impact their function and can be the result of an injury,
congenital or acquired illness or following surgery.
