Communication skills are essential to interacting with others and participating in the
community successfully. Here at A Total Approach, we believe in improving each child's
communication skills and empowering them to communicate successfully and confidently with
their peers in natural environments.
Speech Language Pathology Services in Brief
- Comprehensive speech and language evaluations including a parent interview,
clinical assessment, an evaluation report and parent consultation.
- Brief speech and language screenings
- Ongoing intervention services for children of all ages with speech, language,
feeding, and hearing disorders.
- We are providers of Fast ForWord, an intense computer-based program which is
noted for showing improvement with regards to the auditory processing of language.
- Educational and home setting visitations to do a clinical observation of
communication and interaction with peers (and family members) in the child's natural settings.
- Consultation services to schools and families.
- Partakes in the development and progress of our sensory motor social groups.
