- Captain's Log –
Captain's Log's is a computer based program that consists of fun,
challenging exercises to motivate your clients while stimulating the areas of
the brain that are responsible for cognitive abilities - attention, impulse
control, memory, conceptual reasoning, visual and auditory processing, and more.
- Creative Expressions Drama Social Skills Groups –
Groups consisting of 6 children each, between the ages of 9 and 12, who struggle with social skills at
school, making and maintaining friendships, have difficulty understanding who they are, having an adequate
sense of self, taking in and understanding the perspective of others and experiences difficulty
with self expression.
- Developmental, Individual Differences, Relationship Based Model (DIR®/Floortime™) –
The exciting work of developing the child's mind to incorporate flexibility,
shared opinion, gray area thinking, improve non-verbal and verbal communication
and facilitate learning and problem solving through emotional experiences and
pretend play skills.
- Infant Massage –
A 5 week program designed to teach parents and caregivers how to massage their babies
using techniques developed by Vimala McClure. Our certified educators of infant
massage(CEIM) have been trained and certified by Infant Massage USA, the official
organization endorsed by the International Association of Infant Massage.
- Infant Wellness program–
This program is born from increasing pressure of the special needs community with
regards to early diagnosis as well as providing families with practical tools for
their newborn.
- IntensivePrograms/ Out of state clients - Any combination of our
programs specifically designed for each individual child according to
their individual needs from 1 to 4 weeks.
- Interactive Metronome –
This innovative computer-based program consists of listening to the beat of a
metronome through headphones, while applying sequential, motor actions with the
hands and feet to achieve outcome in motor planning, sequencing, rhythmiticity
and timing, skills necessary for playing sports, reading and social skills,
amongst others.
- Irlen Syndrome –
Irlen Syndrome is a visual hypersensitivity to light difficulty that affects many
children on the spectrum, dyslexics, as well as children with other learning differences.
- The Listening Program–
TLP is a music-based auditory stimulation method. It helps to improve brain function,
reduce stress, and trains the brain in the auditory skills needed to effectively listen,
learn, and communicate. The primary purpose of TLP is to bring the auditory system
into balance.
- Physical Therapy –
A trained masters level therapy program that embraces developmental theory,
while incorporating sensory integration and relationship based modalities,
while focusing on core muscle development, including muscle tone, strength,
range of motion, and postural control.
- The P.L.A.Y Project–
A cost-effective way to provide community-based interventions for children with
autism. Parents and professionals learn effective ways to provide home-based
programs woven into a clinically supervised framework.
- Sensory Integration (Occupational Therapy)–
The ability of the body to take in stimuli from the environment through the
different senses (vestibular, auditory, visual, tactile, proprioceptive,
olfactory, oral), be able to process the information effectively through
the central nervous system, and produce an adaptive, functional response
in a time efficient manner.
- Sensory-Motor Social Groups –
Two professionals work with groups of no more than 6 children to facilitate
learning and functional adaptation through motor movement based on sensory
integration principles, while also using the principles of DIR®/Floortime™
to improve social skills.
- Speech Language Pathology –
A trained masters level therapy program that works on specifically speech and
communication through a variety of methods, including oral-motor, speech, articulation,
assistive technology, as well as work on social and peer relationships.
- Summer Programs–
Our summer programs have changed and include five innovating new programs;
Creative Expressions, Accelerated Learning , *NEW* Alphabet Learning Program,
Sensory Integration and Combined Therapy.
- Therapeutic Listening–
An individualized sound therapy home program that consists of listening to
modulated music through headphones with an appropriate sensory diet, designed
by a trained therapist to achieve functional outcomes in skills of everyday living.
- Tomatis Training –
A highly individualized sound therapy that consists of listening to filtered
music through headphones in a center based program with occupational therapy
to achieve dramatic functional outcomes in all areas of sensory processing.
- Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment–
TPBA is functional approach to assessing/working with children 0-6 years of age in a more cost effective
way for the families we serve. Toni. W. Linder has done a most amazing work in designing this wonderful,
non-threatening play based approach to assessment.
